How Do You Get To Heaven?

How do You get to Heaven?

There are many ways that seem to lead to heaven. Some people make the grave mistake of thinking all roads lead to Heaven or may even say all religions lead to God.

If you think about it, when you need to travel north towards a particular city, and you go south, will you end up at the northern city you set out to reach? NO! As it is with going to Heaven, you must be on the right road to reach the destination. Before you can get on the road to Heaven, you must have your heart overhauled or you will never make a successful journey.

Jesus Christ does a complete heart overhaul, so read on and let The Gospel work on your heart.

How do you get to Heaven?

The Question some want an answer to but few are willing to seek it until they know they have experienced it.

The information in this tract is an on ramp to the Highway to Heaven. Everyone will meet Jesus on judgment day, but only the redeemed will enter in to Heaven. Where do you want to go on Judgment Day? You can know! Salvation is available for everyone!

“He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” Revelation 21:7

A person may promise something and not deliver, but God always keeps his WORD.

Question: How do you get to Heaven?
Answer: Through Jesus Christ the Son of God!

Jesus was born for a reason:
“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

Salvation of one’s soul is a divine gift from God to have eternal life in reach. Eternal life in Heaven can only be a gift from God. You must allow Jesus to change your life in order to make it to heaven. Jesus is the only way to get to God (John 14:6). Seek the Lord while He may be found (Isaiah 55:6).

Have you ever been truly Saved?

And if so are you still Saved today?

The only way to be saved is through redemption found in Jesus Christ. The mercies of God are available to everyone, no matter what you have done in your life. Everyone can be saved, Salvation is not based on whether we are good enough. How good you have been has nothing to do with you getting saved or your ability to be saved. No matter how good of a person you are, you must still be born again! No one comes into this world as a Christian. You must be born again. God is not a respecter of persons; each person must come unto repentance and be saved from their sins. GOD said all have sinned.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23

How can you be saved?

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” Ephesians 2:8

You can be saved if you are willing to love the Lord Jesus Christ with all of your heart, admit that you are a sinner, ask for God’s forgiveness of your sins, truly repent,* and ask Jesus to come into your heart and change your life. When you have truly meet with the Saviour Jesus Christ and your sins are under the atoning Blood of Jesus Christ, you will obtain a witness of the Spirit that your sins are forgiven and you are now a child of God (See Romans 8:16.) You will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have been born again.

*[Repent] To fully repent you must understand the real meaning of it:
It is God felt sorrow in your own heart for the sins you have committed. A change of mind and purpose of life, to which remission of sin is promised, a true sense of one’s own guilt and sinfulness, an apprehension of God’s mercy in Christ, an actual hatred of sin and turning from it to God, a realization of ones own helplessness and a full dependence on Jesus Christ only. An understanding of himself to be just what God has always seen him to be; a sinner. It is a 180° turn around in direction away from sins. True Repentance is to turn from sin and resolve to reform ones life forever by a persistent endeavor after a holy life in walking with God in the way of his commandments. Have you truly repented?
(Some quotes were used from Easton’s Revised Bible Dictionary and The Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

According to God’s Holy Bible, you must be born again to enter into the kingdom of Heaven (John 3:3-7.) After you are truly born again, your life will be changed, Jesus will come into your heart and you will be a new creature in Christ. Your soul will be regenerated, redeemed from your sins, saved from Hell and on your way toward Heaven.

It is God’s desire for you to keep His commandments, God says: “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love…” (John 15:10) You cannot keep God’s commandments on your own. It is only through the loving help of the Holy Spirit after your heart has been changed that you will be able to keep from sinning. You cannot continue to live in sin after being saved. For if you live continually in willful sin, there remains no more sacrifice for your sins (Hebrews 10:26-31). If you are living in habitual sin you need to be saved for God says in his word: “He that committeth sin is of the devil;…” (1 John 3:8). Through Christ you can live a victorious over sin, which begins after you have been born again! Have you been born again into the family of God?

Once I’m saved, what then?

It is God’s will for you not only to be saved from your old sins but also for you to have Entire Sanctification of the heart. Also know by many other names like: Holiness, Sanctification, purifying their hearts by faith, renewing of the Holy Ghost, Crucified with Christ, putting off the old man, A Personal Calvary, Dead to Self, Fully Surrendered, Vital Reality with God, and A Second Work of Grace. What a blessing a personal Calvary is to the born again child of God.

Is Holiness in one’s life required? (You decide…)

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” Hebrews 12:14

In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.” Luke 1:75

“For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.” 1 Thess. 4:7-8

“Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:16

Are you Entirely Sanctified?

Is it possible to have the sinful nature removed from your heart? Beyond being saved as a first work of grace in our lives, the Holy Bible teaches a second work of grace, it is called Sanctification or Holiness. In John 17:17-20, JESUS Himself prayed for YOU to be Sanctified. Jesus said, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” And in Romans 12:1-2 Paul said, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” In 2 Peter 1:4, Peter said, “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” God has made a way for you to be one with him through the sanctification of you heart. Have you been Saved from your old sins and is your heart Entirely Sanctified?

How can you be sanctified? (You must be saved first!)

Then to be entirely sanctified holy, at a point of crisis, you consecrate your life to God, die out to your old will of serving self, ask God to remove that inward nature of sin from your life because you cannot stand it any longer, and live a life of holiness unto the Lord. When you thirst and want to be sanctified with all of your heart to a point of willingness to do whatever God wants you to, and have child like faith that God will sanctify you, you will be baptized with the HOLY SPIRIT, and in an instant have your heart cleansed, thereby sanctifying you. Then you need to maintain your salvation by walking with God and never turn away from Him or back to living in sin.

Walk in the light as he is in the light. After you have been saved and sanctified, walk in the light that God provides, read your Bible daily to always learn more, witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others, and obey the Holy Spirit as He leads your life. Let God be your teacher! “Ask and ye shall receive”

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

All you need to know is in the Bible. Read it for yourself. It is all there. A life of Holiness is only possible through the filling of your heart with the Holy Spirit!

Jesus has the power to change your life! You can be a new person, saved from your sins and victorious against the old original nature of sin. Only through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior are these things possible.

True happiness is found in serving the Lord. Unless you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have not even begun to live. Life starts when you are born into God’s family.

Now… Do you know if you are going to Heaven? You can, if you want to! The real question for you is: Do YOU want salvation enough to seek it until you have the witness from God? God loves you! That is why the Lord has made a plan for you to have full Salvation.

Jesus Loves You!
There is Victory over living in sin everyday, by Christ in you! Come taste that the Lord is Good and be free from your sins! Holiness unto the Lord is a true Christian’s way of life.
